PENANG: Ancubic Group recently announced its new industrial development A-Park Batu Kawan, located east of Batu Kawan Industrial Park, which spans 20.5 acres. Officiated by Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow, the opening ceremony was held at the Ancubic sales gallery.
A-Park Batu Kawan comprises 50 units within the surroundings of the government-initiated workers’ quarters and the North-South Expressway Sungai Bakap rest and relax (R&R) station. Each unit comprises one-and-a-half and two-storey semi-detached and detached factories ranging from 6,800 to 16,700 sq ft.
According to its press release, the A-Park Batu Kawan is set to include corporate offices, showrooms and light production areas, in addition to its factory units. The showrooms are equipped with glass windows and display space, allowing businesses to showcase their products and enhance brand visibility.
The development is expected to have floor loading capabilities of 1.5 tonnes per square metre, with a power supply ranging from 150-200 amperage available on a first-come first-serve basis.
Ancubic reported that the industrial park will be compliant with environmental, social and governance (ESG) standards and facilitate solar panel installation. The development leverages its proximity to the Batu Kawan Industrial Park and immediate connection to the Penang Second Bridge.
