The three-day StarProperty.my Fair attracted strong numbers at Tropicana City Mall

THE final day of the StarProperty.my Fair at Tropicana City Mall saw various exhibitions from top names in the property sector. Among those present were premium developers, IJM Land Berhad and Matrix Concepts Holding Bhd, which offered their flagship projects.
Impressive showcase by premium partners
IJM Land Berhad brought a splendid display of some of their properties to be viewed. Wisteria at the Bandar Rimbayu township promises to offer its residents a welcoming sense of space and privacy with their range of double-storey link homes. The public was able to purchase from Type B or C which has built-up sizes ranging from 2,388 sq ft to 2,492 sq ft. The Type A units are not launched yet.
In addition, they also showcased the Bayu Suria phase, located in the Shah Alam 2 township. Consisting of two-storey semi-D and two-storey link semi-D homes for the comforts of refined living, the former has only 30 exclusive units, with a spacious built-up of 2,285 sq ft and a price tag of RM698,000. The latter has three types but only the Type C unit was available for purchase, which has a built-up of 1,845 sq ft and a price tag of RM535,000.
Finally, visitors were able to check out Secoya Residences, a towering high-rise that stands tall at Pantai Sentral Park that is dubbed the one and only “Urban Forest City”. There are a total of 243 units which contain many types of built-up sizes to choose from, ranging between 1,050 sq ft to 1,670 sq ft. The prices start from RM960,000 for a piece of natural paradise.
IJM Land sales and marketing executive Jacyn Tan had some words of advice for visitors to the fair, “Potential buyers should always bear in mind that the prices of property will never go down. This is despite the rumours of a bad economy, which means that this is one of the best methods to invest. Furthermore, with a good developer and the right location, first-time homebuyers will be able to reap the benefits from their property for many years to come.”
Matrix Concepts Holding Bhd exhibited four projects from their flagship development, Bandar Sri Sendayan, a 5,233-acre township located within the Greater Klang Valley conurbation, at Negeri Sembilan.
The firm’s residential projects at the fair include Dextora, Elvina and Elymus from the Hijayu series. Their commercial development, Sendayan Merchant Square, was also exhibited at the fair.
Dextora offers two-storey link homes which has a total of 565 units, with 90% of the units already sold out and only 10% of the units available at the fair. The units come with 2,615 sq ft built-up and have four bedrooms and four bathrooms.
Meanwhile, Elymus offers two-storey semi-D with 4,415 sq ft built-up, which has four bedrooms, six bathrooms, one powder room and two utility rooms. The price tag for these units begin from RM1,298,888.
Elvina is a two-storey superlink home, offering two layouts with prices starting from RM559,888. The Sendayan Merchant Square on the other hand is a 100-acre integrated central business hub comprising boutique retail outlets, eateries, Matrix Global Schools and the upcoming Matrix Tower.
“The d’Tempat Country Club and Matrix International School adds class to this township, besides providing affordable homes with huge built-ups. Quite a number of visitors visited the booth as Bandar Sri Sendayan is well-known for its serene and high-end ambience,” said Matrix Concepts Holding Bhd sales and marketing senior manager Deepamala Raghavan.
Highly anticipated projects
There were several other highly anticipated projects at the fair that offered special discounts, only available during the fair. WCT Land Bhd showcased Skyz Jelutong Residences and The Azure Residences; Hua Yang Bhd promoted Zeta Residence and Cube @ One South; Paramount Property offered Sejati Residences, Paramount Utropolis and Sekitar26 Business; Land & General exhibited the Astoria; Sime Darby Brunsfield featured PJ Midtown and The Locus KLCV.
ASPIRASI is a wholly owned subsidiary of Syarikat Perumahan Negara Berhad (SPNB) and they had three pre-launch promotions, which were Eighteen@Cyberjaya, plus serviced apartments in Ampang and Kampung Chubadak Tengah, Setapak.
Mayland Group showcased two of their projects, Regalia at Jalan Kuching and Hermitage at Sri Hartamas, with a special package of 7% cash rebate. Titijaya Land Bhd displayed three of their flagship developments which were 3Elements in Seri Kembangan, H2O Residences in Ara Damansara and Kemensah Heights in Ampang. Gamuda Land was also onboard with three noteworthy developments; HighPark Suites at Kelana Jaya, The Robertson at Jalan Pudu and Jade Hills at Kajang.
For overseas projects, Central Equity promoted the Southbank Central Apartments, Melbourne, and Absolute Living UK exhibited the Orchid Point Apartments, Manchester.
With many prominent developers at the fair, the turn out was quite overwhelming. From first-time home buyers to property investors, many walked right in to check out projects that were presented at this prominent fair.
“I was quite impressed with this fair as it does open up a big opportunity for first-time home buyers like me. I’m interested in looking for a high-rise property with price tag below RM750,000. H2O Residences by Titijaya Land Bhd attracted me the most, but sadly not many units are left to choose from,” said Staci Tan, 24, a visitor of StarProperty.my Fair.
More property fairs to come
At the end of the three-day fair, there were 11 lucky winners of the coveted Senheng cash vouchers. Two participants won the RM5,888 cash voucher, two others won the RM2,888 cash voucher, while the rest won the RM888 cash voucher.
If you missed out on this fair, there are two upcoming ones to look forward to. The first one will be held at Gurney Plaza and G Hotel, Penang, from 9th to 12th July, and the subsequent one will be held at Johor Bahru City Square, Johor Bahru from 21st to 23rd August.
