PETALING JAYA: A total of 16,000 homes under the Perbadanan PR1MA Malaysia (PR1MA), the Government’s housing programme catered for the middle income (M40) group has been taken up nationwide.
The estimated gross development value (GDV) of the 16,000 homes is around RM4bil.
To date, PR1MA Members of Corporation (MOC) has approved more than 267,640 homes nationwide for development.
“The housing agenda has always been given high priority by the Federal Government. Whilst there are existing public housing programmes for the lower income (B40) group, the M40 income group has a different set of requirements for housing.
As such, in line with the inclusive housing agenda of the Government, via its agencies will continue to build more quality homes for the M40 in urban, suburban and new urban areas,” said PR1MA chief executive officer Datuk Abdul Mutalib Alias in a statement.
The expo “Ekspo Jualan Perumahan – Ke Arah Sejuta Impian” is part of a nationwide tour aimed to reach out to the Rakyat across the country including Perak, Terengganu, Kedah and Sabah and will continue to be hosted in Pahang, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Johor and Perlis throughout the month of April.
