KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian developer UEM Sunrise Bhd has launched their third Melbourne project at White Box, Publika, last week.
The design project is located in the heart of Melbourne’s most eminent 412 St Kilda Road, with a gross development value worth RM 1.1bil. Pushing the boundaries in terms of ultra-luxury, the development offers 158 residential units of one to five bedrooms.
Designed by the well known Zaha Hadid Architects and Australian-based design and architecture practice Elenberg Fraser, Mayfair stands out as the legacy building with design cues of crashing waves and the Lorenz attractor; a mathematical resembles figure, creating a transformative living experience.
Mayfair ranges in size from 750 to 6,000 sq ft with selling price starting from RM2.44mil. While the penthouses, branded as the Zaha Signature Suites, are listed for up to RM43mil.
UEM Sunrise’s managing director executive officer Anwar Syahrin Abdul Ajib commented, “To continue UEM Sunrise’s prodigious presence in Melbourne, following our two successful developments; Aurora Melbourne Central and Conservatory that is redefining the Melbourne CBD’s skylines, we wanted to create the next landmark with an equally innovative and spectacular development that redefines luxury.
“Mayfair exudes that next level of elegance appealing to the most discerning buyers who wish to be a part of a living, breathing piece of Zaha Hadid artistic legacy on Melbourne’s most premium boulevard,” he added.
The 21-storey development offers a new luxury lifestyle delivering living spaces that resonate with the rich Melbourne culture.
“We’re extremely thrilled to be working with UEM Sunrise and presenting our first collaboration in Melbourne. The fluidity within the beautiful Australian landscape has defined the geometries of the building’s sculpted façade, which are carried through to the interiors and celebrate the finest attention to detail.
“The experience begins from the main entrance and continues right through every apartment, each with their own unique views.” said Zaha Hadid Architects principal and director Patrik Schumacher.
