PUNCAK ALAM: In October 2023, Tropicana Corporation Bhd launched Tropicana Alam, its first signature township in Puncak Alam. Spanning 362 acres, this integrated development features eight lifestyle and commercial components.
To celebrate the launch, the Ria Ria Thai Bazaar was held at the Tropicana Alam Property Gallery, drawing over 3,600 attendees. The event featured over 50 Thai stalls, a Muay Thai competition, traditional dance performances, a petting zoo and more.
In line with its ESG commitments, Tropicana also donated to the local community and planted five of the 1,549 trees planned for the green initiative.
“The Tropicana Alam development is a well-received township as it is located in a most strategic piece of residential land in Puncak Alam with security in the form of a gated and guarded community. It offers residents immediate access to various conveniences such as a 5-acre scenic lake, a 4.5-acre central park, a 1.3km tranquil lakeside jogging trail, an outdoor basketball court, takraw and badminton court. It is located with multiple accessibility via major highways including LATAR, GUTHRIE, DASH, NKVE, WCE and the North-South Expressway. Phase 2 is GreenRE certified, reflecting our commitment to green living,” said Tropicana managing director of marketing, sales and business development Ixora Ang.
Meanwhile, Avisa Residences Phase 2 is the first two-storey premium green terrace development in Puncak Alam. The project achieved a 70% take-up of its 431 units within the first seven months, driven by high demand since the opening weekend in March 2024. With a targeted completion date in 2027, the development includes premium green terraces with two options. Type A features an additional 5 sq ft garden at the back of the unit and Type B offers additional kitchen space. Every unit comes equipped with seven four-star rated ceiling fans, in addition to fan points to ensure comfort and efficiency. High ceilings in the intermediate units promote natural lighting and cross-ventilation.
Additionally, the air-conditioning systems consist of a 2.0 hp unit for the living area and a 1.5 hp unit for the master bedroom, both designed with a north-south orientation to maximise comfort.
The project includes 911 units of two-storey terrace homes built with low-volatile organic compound paint and green concrete, as well as drought-tolerant plants and a dedicated recycling area.
