PETALING JAYA: Gamuda Land has announced a partnership agreement with 3Q Equestrian Centre (3Q Equestrian), catering for post-pandemic demand for outdoor activities while leveraging on the rugged natural beauty of the township in Klang Valley North.
The agreement was signed by Gamuda Land chief executive officer Ngan Chee Meng and 3Q Equestrian director Qabil Ambak.
Gamuda Land chief operating officer Aw Sei Cheh and general manager Chu Wai Lune, and 3Q Equestrian founder Tan Sri Mahamad Fathil and director Datuk Quzier Ambak were present to witness the signing ceremony.
Bringing 3Q Equestrian's proven experience and expertise in building and managing regional equestrian venues to the fore, the strategic partnership complements Gamuda Gardens' existing Xploria placemaking.
This further enhances the township's vibrancy through diverse amenities and activities while showcasing Gamuda Land's core building principles.
A focus on nature
"Our partnership with 3Q Equestrian reaffirms Gamuda Land's forward-thinking commitment to placemaking in our developments, ensuring a thoughtful mix of residential, commercial and recreational components to build thriving, connected communities,” said Ngan.
The partnership confirms 3Q Equestrian's intent to operate a horse-riding facility in Gamuda Gardens, comprising a paddock for leisurely pony rides as well as a guided horse ride along a scenic 1.5km Gardens Hill forest trail.
Through this partnership, residents and visitors to Gamuda Gardens can experience the township's tiered landscapes and natural beauty.
Gamuda Land incorporates two cascading waterfalls, five lakes, ample greenery, and an award-winning central park, set amid the northern Klang Valley's rolling hills.
In addition, the collaboration with the founders of 3Q Equestrian, the Ambak family, which has a generations-long legacy in the Gamuda Gardens area, is a resounding testament to the stewardship and care Gamuda Land has demonstrated in safeguarding the natural heritage of the site throughout its development, in line with its core principle of listening to what the land has to tell.
"We are grateful that the land we have grown close to is being safeguarded and enhanced by a developer with Gamuda Land's diligence, care and sense of responsibility. The infrastructure it has built, while working with nature to bring out the beauty of the location, showcases its sustainable approach and development values. These values are deeply in tune with our own, which is why we look forward to this collaboration," said Qabil Ambak.
The pulse of Klang Valley North
Established in 1990, 3Q Equestrian Centre has a strong reputation as an equestrian training destination and a competition venue within South East Asia, having produced many top equestrian athletes.
Its upcoming horse-riding attraction in Gamuda Gardens will be one of the pull factors driving the growth of the 810-acre township, envisioned as the pulse of Klang Valley North.
Other than 3Q Equestrian's horse-riding attraction, which is scheduled to start next month, Gamuda Gardens features a plethora of exciting experiences under Xploria, including a Donut Boat ride, Nature School programme, Paws Playland pet agility training ground, Gardens Arena FIFA-standard football turf, Waterfront Village, Gardens Wellness Club and Big Bucket Splash water play park.
Other components within Gamuda Gardens include wellness amenities, an international school, the Gardens Square commercial centre and a city centre.
