    Analysis

    Desarina is a fully rehabilitated condominium by Syarikat Perumahan Negara. It was initially abandoned for about a decade with 80% completion after construction started in 1994. Problems arose as its developer Mega Sakti and together with the main contractor NCK Perumahan were in liquidation. And the developer's holding company Pembinaan Kien Sinar also folded. Fortunately, an agreement was reached with Syarikat Perumahan Negara to be the main contractor to support the rehabilitation of the project as well as fund a substantial amount of its construction cost. Desarina was fully restored and completed in 2011. Desarina is a nice place to stay due to its close proximity to the city centre and established business areas such as Bangsar, Mid Valley City and KL Sentral. Being next to OBD Garden Tower, quite a number of Japanese expatriates have lived in OBD condominium for many years, as it is near to their international school and Japanese Club of Kuala Lumpur. Hopefully, the number of the expatriates will increase further, allowing owners to earn higher yield from these tenants. Desarina Condominium is a very quiet place being away from school and Seremban Highway @ eg Tiara Faber Condo which experiences noise pollution.
