Analysis
Traffic congestion along Jalan Kerinchi is bad at most times. This occurs due to several reasons. One of them is illegal parking on the narrow street. It becomes worse on weekends as more cars being parked on the roadside since a pub opened at Bangsar South. Another reason is because of the vicinity is crowded by residential developments and Jalan Kerinchi is indeed the only access into the area. There is potential in Bukit Kerinchi due to the massive and bold development by UOA on Bangsar South. The area is revamping its image into an exclusive neighborhood for residential and a prime commercial area, like Bangsar and Mont Kiara. Since 2007, the developer has upgraded the area by widening the main road into three lanes, building pedestrian walkways and several landscaping works. There is also a food court built for previous roadside traders. Surely, you will see plenty more new and modern developments in the future. In terms of investment, buying a new property at Bangsar South is a better bet since the price is quite similar at around RM300 psf for its serviced residence. But investing on Pantai Panorama is not bad as well due to the area potential.
