Despite being surrounded by modern and new commercial buildings, the facade of Wisma Central looks old and worn down. This old office complex was constructed long ago before there was KLCC, believed to be built in in the 1980s. Nevertheless, it is located at the most strategic and prime area of KLCC. Directly next to Wisma Central is a piece of vacant land, which is said to be future Four Seasons Hotel and Residence. It seems like a big contrast to have one of the world's most luxury hotel chains sitting next to an old and worn down building. Eventually, as land prices escalate in KLCC vicinity, it makes more sense for some to demolish the old building and build a new one to replace it. However, the building is a great national heritage and could be repaired and restored for better cultural value.
