Soho Suites (also known as Soho Suites @ KLCC) is indeed a very interesting development whereby the design is unique and yet practical to fit the upcoming trend of live-work culture. Soho Suites is located in between Wisma Hong Leong and Menara Bank Islam. It is also neighboring Etiqa Twins, Fraser Place, Rohas Perkasa and the renowned Petronas Twin Towers. Soho Suites offers 2 types of Soho, Duplex and Simplex. Duplex is a 2-storey unit with Suite Office on lower floor and Service Suite Apartment on upper floor. The two floors are connected by an internal staircase. Meanwhile, the Simplex unit is a single-storey unit whereby the Service Residential Apartment unit is connected to Corporate Office (different block). Hence, a resident can live in the apartment of Soho Suites, and goes to work on different unit via internal passage. The separate configuration of work place and residential unit lets the owner customize living area to suit residential ambience and office space to suit formal business activities. The concept of Soho Suites is enhanced by the separation of residential lifts and office lifts. The residential lifts stop at residential floors, while the office lifts stop at office floors. Besides that, it also features different ground lobbies and entrances. Adding to that, its guest lifts lobby is also separated from service lifts lobby. There are a total of 5 zones at Soho Suites, namely Zone RA (Residential Apartment) 1, Zone RA (Residential Apartment) 2, Zone CO (Corporate Office), Zone SO (Suites Office) and Zone SA (Suite Apartment). Each zone is serviced by 4 lifts, with each lift serves 4 units per floor. Interesting and modern facilities are built in Soho Suites to encompass high-end living and work place as it features Sky Club Facilities @ Podium Roof, which includes Health Fitness Centre, 25m lap pool, poolside cabanas with sofa bed, timber pool deck with sun loungers, sauna and steam room, cafe, bar, alfresco lounge, laundrette and convenience store. Simply put, Soho Suites is conveniently located in the heart of KL city. It is just 7 minutes walking away from Bukit Bintang shopping belt and 5 minutes walking away from Petronas KLCC Twin Tower. It is also within close proximity to KLCC RapidKL LRT station and Raja Chulan Monorail station.

  • Analysis

Monoland is indeed a reputable boutique developer in Malaysia. Established since early 1990s, it has undertaken several projects including Central Park, Gurney Park, The Oval, 8 Gurney, Oval Tower, Quadro Residences and ViPod Suites. The Soho Suites development is launched in few phases. The first phase comprises of units from ground to 19th floor, and is tagged from RM750 psf. Phase 2 comprises units located from 20th to 27th floor, at RM950 psf onwards. Meanwhile, Phase 3 comprises of units located from 28th floor to 34th floor, and priced from RM1,050 psf onwards. Phase 4 is yet to be launched. Indeed, this project is a sell-out for many reasons. One of them is its Soho concept, whereby there are many successful Soho products such as Empire Subang and Axis Sohu. Besides that, the price tag of Soho Suites is tempting and affordable among local investors to chip in. Also, its great location is another factor that makes this property sells like a hot ‘pisang goreng’.
