Kepong Baru is favoured by many for its convenience and also its friendly neighborhood. Being within a matured and old neighborhood, It is well surrounded by a wide range of amenities. However, residents of Kepong Baru are living in fear of the increasing crime rates. Some even claimed that their house was broken into three times in a year. Residents stated that there was police presence around the neighborhood but not as often as they would have hoped for. The Kepong Community Centre Head has requested for the police to increase their patrols in Kepong Baru with hopes to rectify the situation at hand.
