It is gated and guarded with 24-hour security and a playground is located in the grounds as well. There is both covered and non-covered parking.Amenities are easily accessible from Cloud View Tower. Located nearby is the Cheras Leisure Mall, Giant Hypermarket and Paragon Point, all less than 3 kilometers away. The nearest hospital is the Pantai Cheras Medical Centre, being less than a kilometer away. Banking facilities and eateries could easily be found in Taman Cheras which is walking distance away, or less than 5 minutes by car. There are no schools in the immediate vicinity, but there is SM Teknik Kuala Lumpur and SM Sains Alam Shah, as well as Cempaka International School all less than 3 kilometers away. Accessibility is good as two main roads intersect not far from the location, being the Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2), and Jalan Cheras. There is typically no public transportation service at the location, as it only services the main roads at MRR2 or Jalan Cheras.

Cloud View Tower really lives up to its name as it is strategically located for the view, and some mentioned that it is an excellent location to view fireworks from Kuala Lumpur during the festivities. The location itself is near the edge of an undeveloped forest, however that is rapidly changing as Taman Segar to the east is seeing a lot of development such as Taman Bukit Hatamas and Tiara Hatamas.
