Analysis
Damai Bakti is surrounded by established and matured residential neighborhoods such as Taman Len Sen, Taman Connaught, Taman Bukit Anggerik and Taman Bukit Cheras. Due to massive residential development within the vicinity in the last decade, the area has become very congested and caused terrible traffic jam during peak hours. However, the problem has eased a bit since the completion of the Connaught Interchange in front of Plaza Phoenix. Up to this date, traffic congestion in the area is still terrible.Even though Damai Bakti is marketed as a gated and guarded enclave, it is not truly one as it is just surrounded by perimeter fencing, and the neighborhood will be maintained by DBKL after handover - unless the residents hire and arrange the guards themselves. For ones who are looking for real gated and guarded community, there are The Peak and Bukit Manda'rina nearby.According to the developer statistic, the township of Alam Damai has enjoyed great appreciation over the decade. Its 1st phase development which was launched in 1998 at around RM150,000 is now selling around RM550,000. Me awhile, its semi-detached homes that are launched in 2002 at RM450,ooo fetches up to RM850,000.
