    IJM has been one of the major developer in the area of Larkin. They first made its foray into the Johor real estate market in the late 1990s by clinching a state government privatization project to build 328 “Rumah Rakyat”, a low-cost public housing programme, in Larkin. Their later flagship development was named Bistari Impian, also located in Larkin. Casa Impiana has a gross development value of RM38 million.Casa Impiana has relatively high rental return as the subsale prices has stagnated pretty much since being completed in the year 2008. The development is one of the few upper market landed housing estates closer to Johor Bahru City whereas the other developers are more inclined to develop the outskirts. Rental rates would depend a lot on the furnishings as upper market tenants would prefer fully furnished units in move-in condition.
