The Cantonment is another project by the reputable Malton in the upcoming location of Pulau Tikus on the northeast coast of Penang. It sits on freehold land,and the project's completion date has not been released by the developer. Prices start from a steep RM708 psf as can only be expected of such a luxurious high rise.     Malton is a reputable developer with many successful projects under their belt. Incorporated in 1994 and registered on BURSA Malaysia in 2002, Malton has so far completed a 358 acre project in Bukit Rimau, Pearl Villas in Section 16 and Amaya Saujana in Saujana Subang. Whether The Cantonment will be a success to add to their list or not will only be known to the exclusive and undisclosed buyers of the 71 units, as all the units including the Bumi lots were sold out before the project was even launched and before it even appeared on Malton's website; much to the chagrin and indignation of many interested buyers. There are no units for sale at all, otherwise it could be good as an investment due to its excellent location, and its indicative price of RM708,000 which was ridiculously low created a lot of unfulfilled excitement. Perhaps there will be units for sale after the building is completed if the buyer; or buyers; of the 71 units are willing to let the units go; probably at ridiculously premium prices.
