    Tambun Indah is, at a time, the developer with the highest market capital among Penang-based developers. They have received a lot of flak as well as praise from both sides of consumer spectrum. In block B of the development, there are a total of 152 units that are classified as Low Medium Cost housing as per the Penang state government's initiative. Their developments in the mainland of Penang however, have been regarded by some as underwhelming. The physical location of the building site is overseeing a IWK waste water treatment plant and very close rubbish dump site, which has caused some worry among potential purchasers. Some also noted that there are squatters in the area as well.
