    Taman Maju Satu is one of Kajang’s longest residential developments and is a calm and serene place to call home. It accesses Jalan Sg Jelok towards TTDI Grove (Kajang Prison) or via Kajang town through Taman Saga Emas / Taman Kajang Mulia through Jalan Minang, Generally peaceful, the residents of Taman Maju Satu do have to contend with some heavy traffic during peak hours, especially exiting at Jalan Sg Jelok. Parts of this neighbourhood connects to Taman Kajang Baru Sg Jelok which contains some low-cost houses. While many of these houses have been renovated and upgraded there are still some which look rather run-down. Additional police patrols have also recently ensured this area remains safe and quiet.The new developments of the next door Taman Saga Emas consisting of terrace houses, townhouses and shop lots, and with a newly opened access road are pushing up the prices at Taman Maju Satu as people are attracted to the ease of access to Kajang town and also the easy access to the Kajang bypass road that leads directly to KL. Prices here are still affordable for the amount of convenience and ease of access. The completion of TTDI Grove is also quickly increasing the prices of all the surrounding older residences. It's surprising that prices are getting beyond reach here.
