Batu Pahat is one of the more heavily populated cities in Johor, despite the fact that it is one of the harder to access cities in Johor. Traffic is generally smooth flowing throughout the days, interspersed with short hours of traffic congestion along the main roads during peak hours.Taman Banang Heights is one of the less well taken care of neighbourhoods, as compared to some of equal age or older but are still very well maintained. The place does not exude a feeling of safety with the houses badly in need of paint, although there are some who have moved out of their houses here and are renting it out as holiday homes now.Taman Banang Heights is not recommended as an investment even if it was in an investment worthy area, as despite its freehold title, the neighbourhood does not have a good image. Houses in this area are however highly affordable especially with the units for auction, excellent for those within a tight budget.
