Villa Sri Melati offers its dwellers a sense of community. This is by and large the fact that it resides in a predominantly residential neighborhood. It is surrounded mainly by other residences. Additionally, being in a traditional neighborhood like Air Itam where it is known to be one of the earlier neighborhoods in Penang, it brings about a good support network. Schools and other amenities are nearby. Having said that, Villa Sri Melati is losing out in terms of the sub-sale market to other medium cost residences as the façade and units are rather dated. It unfortunately does not help that because its neighbors were also built around the same time, they too look rather dated and unkempt. The outlook of the neighborhood is rather drably.
