There are numerous complaints heard by the residents who reside within Sri Tioman I. One of the problems suffered by the residents was in 2008, whereby the telephone cable was stolen and they have to wait more than 2 months to get it replaced. According to the residents, they can only wait for DBKL to replace it as it is part of DBKL's responsibility. Imagine being unable to use telephone and internet for more than 2 months – and still have to bear the fix telephone and internet charges. The area surrounding Sri Tioman I is quite dirty and not properly managed. You can easily see rubbish on the ground and open areas. Parking is a common issue here as the car park bays are very limited and available on first-come first-serve basis. With aplenty of residents live within the apartment, double car parking is a common scene at the car park.
