Most residents claimed that Emerald Hill is badly maintained. Even the look from the outside, one can see that the condominium is bad in shape as the paint is already faded. Perhaps, Seri Baiduri is a better option which is newer and also boasts condominium facilities. But the drawback of Seri Baiduri is that it is a walk-up apartment. However, Emerald Hill is well located near to basic amenities to raise a family. The surrounding is very serene and calm with a lush forest at the back. The condominium also commands a great view of the city center skyline and the surrounding neighborhoods. One may find the traffic congestion towards Emerald Hill from the city centre is quite a hassle as there are several traffic congestion areas that one needs to pass before arrives at the condominium. It is accessible from Jalan Kolam Air (after AKLEH) and the traffic jam starts from the road right till Ampang Jaya vicinity. Jalan Ampang is also congested from Ampang Point Shopping Centre until the Taman Kosas intersection.
