Analysis
Sang Suria was actually a stalled project by Sentul Raya Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Taiping Consolidated. It was initially launched back then in late 1994 by the developer. YTL has started discussions with Taiping Consolidated over the revival plan for Villa Perhentian and Sang Suria in late 1998. Then, in May 2001, YTL became the majority shareholder of Taiping Consolidated.Even though Sang Suria is adjacent to Sentul Park, the condominium is actually not part of the YTL's Sentul masterplan. Thus, residents from Sang Suria here do not enjoy as much benefits as others residing within the master plan. In fact, Sang Suria residents cannot access directly into the Sentul Park even though they live next to it. While The Maple has an elevated footbridge that links the condominium to Sentul Park.
