    Residents around the PJS area are complaining on heavy traffic on roads leading towards Taman Kenagapuram and also roads from Taman Petaling Utama that joins into Jalan 18/17. According to residents there, there are a lot of motorists who use the roads from the enclave to get into Jalan Klang Lama and to avoid paying toll which in turn leads to traffic congestion around that area. Unfortunately to some residents, the PJS area is also a crime prone area. Just recently, a group of ‘Mat Rempit’ rode into the Taman Petaling Utama flats and damaged about 20 cars. Windscreens and windows were smashed in the process and the Mat Rempits were believed to be high on drugs. Fortunately, some residents nearby have identified some of the registration numbers on their motorcycles and are also able to identified a few of them. One motorcyclist even rode up to a food stall nearby and pointed a parang at one of the residents who is having dinner there, the resident pleaded for the motorcyclist not to hurt him.Fortunately, he was not hurt in the incident. Residents have commented that this was not the first time incidents like this happened in Taman Petaling Utama, the previous case happened 2 years ago.
