The buildings of Puncak Athenaeum look run down from far, as the paint has already faded with loads of black spots on the buildings. However, once you are inside, this condominium is still decent with lush and well-maintained landscaped and an eye-soothing fountain water feature and a statue at the centre of the condominium. Due to several tragedies of landslide in the nearby area, Puncak Athenaeum is prone to landslide due to its location at the peak of the hill. Due to this matter, one might find difficulties to secure financing from some banks. Block B of Puncak Athenaeum is more expensive than Block A due to the KLCC view. Block A is cooler as it is facing the east. Both blocks enjoy the freshness of the air and greenery views. Even though this condominium is cheap - with price tag about RM150,000, its rental is quite expensive as a fully furnished unit can fetch RM1,500 per month.
