Taman Desaminium (also known as Desaminium Park) is a residential township with over 400 acres of leasehold land. This residential township is located within Bandar Putra Permai, near to Lestari Perdana and Lestari Putra. At the moment, there are just 2 developments built within this township – and both are serviced apartments. Rimba is a large-sized apartment with built-up size of 1,140 sf with 5 bedrooms. There are a total of 536 units of Rimba apartments. Meanwhile, Flora apartment comprises a total of 226 units built-ups of 850 sf. The apartment fits 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The launch price starts from RM82,888 to RM110,338Rimba layout is very awkward. As the unit is fitted with 5 bedrooms, the bathrooms, living and dining area are very crammed. Besides that, there is no entrance foyer and the yard is too small to cater laundry needs. Perhaps, the developer targets student market – but there is no college or university nearby.

    Flora and Rimba are actually planned as condominium (marketed as ‘resort condominiums’) instead of apartment. Both projects were claimed to be equipped with vast array amenities including a complete clubhouse, fruit orchard with outward bound camp and hotel, a jungle park, deer and ostrich farm et cetera. In addition, the developer also claimed that the clubhouse will feature Cineplex, shopping podium, library, IT centre, multiple pools, 2-tier driving range and outdoors driving facilities. However, most of these bombastic facilities have completed and provided by the developer. Even the basic clubhouse did not complete. This is the reason it is labeled as apartment instead of condominium. In addition, Taman Desaminium is located just a stone's throw away to Air Hitam landfill, which was formerly a rubbish dumping site which has treated over than 5.4 million tones of waste since its operations began in 1995 till January 2007. Quite a number of residents nearby the area (till Pasar Borong Selangor) claimed that they can still smell some bad smell from the area at night. Most of buyers of Taman Desaminium are frustrated with their purchase. They have to pay the maintenance fee of RM114 per month, without the facilities ready for them. Not only that, the clubhouse is quite far away from the apartment, which they have to drive to reach the clubhouse. Residents also claim that the management is very lousy. A resident claims his floor is only swept once a month. Taman Desaminium is the maiden project by the developer which is the reason why this is a huge failure – facilities not completed, apartment not completed on-time, and bad management service. Hence, it is unlikely will be any new launch within Taman Desaminium as planned.
