There have been a few cases within Taman Prima Impian that have made news headlines such as the case involving the Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry enforcement personnel raiding a house in Taman Prima Impian which was believed to be a production site for adulterated liquors. A 25 year old man has been detained and about 1000 bottles of liquor has been seized. Besides that, Jalan Segambut has also been in the news for being one of the most congested roads in the Kuala Lumpur area. Jalan Segambut is said to be used by some 50,000 residents and the matters was worsened when multiple roads were converged into a single lane.
