Hap Seng Consolidated Berhad is a progressive and well-established publicly listed Company with diversified businesses in plantations, property investment and development, credit financing, trading of fertilizers and automotive, as well as building materials and stone quarries. Formerly known as The East Asiatic Company (Malaysia) Berhad, this company was listed on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (now known as Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad) in August 1978.

Property development has been identified as one of the core businesses of the Group. Hap Seng Property Holding and Development Division has more than 40 years of expertise in property development and holding of investment properties, covering township development, residential, commercial and industrial properties. Incorporated on March 27 1972 in Sabah, the division continues to be a major player in the property development scene in Sabah to this day.

In line with its expansion, the division continue to grow its property development business into West Malaysia, bringing forth the expertise garnered from an impressive stand as one of the top developer in Sabah.

Apart from optimizing returns from existing property assets, the division will continue to remain alert to the availability of strategically located properties and new developments while continually expanding the group's land banks throughout Malaysia. We strive to maintain our leadership position in East Malaysia and hope to make a prominent mark in West Malaysia.
