Taman Kepong Indah is a leasehold housing development located within the township of Kepong in the state of Kuala Lumpur. It is very centrally located at just 20 minutes away from the heart of the city centre, while Bangsar and Mont Kiara are of an equal distance about 20 minutes away. Other cities such as Petaling Jaya are approximately half an hour away while the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) is about an hour away.The houses in Taman Kepong Indah consists mainly of double storey terrace houses with built-ups ranging between 880 sf and 1,655 sf. Each house has an average of either 3 or 4 bedrooms, along with 2 or 3 bathrooms. Prices are reasonable due to the age of the houses at between RM440,000 and RM770,000, while units for auction can be found at prices as low as RM320,000.The houses in Taman Kepong Indah are all very old as can be seen from their exteriors, and most of them arrive on the market scene either partially or fully furnished. Built-in kitchen cabinets, sanitary ware and light and fan fixings are the norm, while many of the units also come with air-conditioners and water heaters.
Residents of Taman Kepong Indah do not enjoy much in terms of facilities as they are located in a purely residential area, however there is a local surau on the southern end of the residential area to cater to the locals. On the eastern side of the development is the local multipurpose hall Dewan Hijau Ria, which beside it is a local eatery Warung Mat Dom. Located just opposite the residential area is the Kepong Metropolitan Lake Garden which hosts playgrounds and jogging tracks.The closest education institution to Taman Kepong Indah is the St. Mary Secondary School which is only 5 minutes away, while within close driving distance are many more primary and secondary schools. Local banks can be found less than 10 minutes away from home in the commercial area, while the Selayang Hospital is less than 5 minutes away.Residents of Taman Kepong Indah enjoy excellent accessibility to the city via both the Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2) and the Selayang - Kepong Highway, both of which the entrance points are immediately outside the neighbourhood. As such, getting to major trunk roads such as Jalan Kuching and Jalan Ipoh is easy via the highways. The Kepong Sentral station which offers both trains and public busses is only 10 minutes away.

    Residents of Taman Kepong Indah generally enjoy smooth flowing traffic at all times of the day, especially if approaching from the Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2). The turn-off into the residential area along the Selayang - Kepong Highway on the other hand is extremely congested during peak hours, with the slip roads to and fro the MRR2 being the worst affected.The neighbourhood of Taman Kepong Indah may not be as aesthetically pleasing as some of its neighbours; however, it still presents excellent living opportunities with its quiet and peaceful environment. Many residents are however deterred from utilising the facilities at the Kepong Metropolitan Lake Garden as they complain of an unbearable stench from the lake. House break-ins are also common in the area, posing a problem for residents.Taman Kepong Indah does not present so much of an investment opportunity as it sits on leasehold land where renewing the lease in future might be problematic. It is however at the moment an excellent place for locals to call a home as it is remarkably affordable for a home so centrally located in the city.

    Taman Kepong Indah居民几乎全天都可享受顺畅的道路交通,尤其是从第二中环大道(MRR2)而来,若从士拉央—甲洞大道转入住宅区的话,则在交通繁忙时段非常拥堵,连通往第二中环大道的分叉路也严重受影响。Taman Kepong Indah或不比其他邻区来得美观,但它提供居民一个宁静的家居环境。可惜近年来爆窃案频传,治安响起警钟,加上有很多居民埋怨临近湖泊传来难闻恶臭味,导致他们无法充分使用甲洞大都会湖滨公园的设施。从投资角度来看,Taman Kepong Indah属于租赁产权物业,日后更新地契或很麻烦,并不是投资好对象。然而,对本地人来说,却是个建立家园的理想居所,因为它坐落吉隆坡中央位置,且价格合理可负担得起。
