    Houses in Taman Duta are highly sought after due to its close proximity to Kenny Hills. As you drive through this quiet and hilly neighborhood of Taman Duta, the homes of the rich and famous are sporadically spread all over the place. What the residents of Taman Duta call home appear like castles in the sky to the ordinary person.Being located right next to Jalan Duta, one may have to bear with the traffic noise from the busy road. One should choose units that facing Kenny Hills instead of Jalan Duta, but of course the price is higher. After the closing down of Jalan Ledang, the residents have to be solely dependent on the Jalan Taman Duta entrance. Being in front of High Commission of India, the residents have to tolerate the high number of people applying for visa.In 2012, several trees have been felled in the jungle near Seri Duta II. It prompted an outcry from the residents who did not see the purpose or benefit from the activity. After some inquiry, they found out that DBKL was surveying the land for possibility of building a park. The notion was rejected by the residents. Furthermore, there is a plan to build a highway to connect Jalan Duta and Jalan Mahameru near the existing intersection at Jalan Semantan and Jalan Duta. The new highway will offer an alternative for road users to Taman Duta.
