Taman Seri Perak is located in a high density neighbourhood which all share the same main road to enter and exit the area. As such, roads are generally clear during the afternoons and off-peak hours, but is always a serious issue during peak hours. The most seriously affected roads are Jalan Jelutong, and a certain stretch along Jalan Perak outside the Taman Meranti apartment.The neighbourhood of Taman Seri Perak is mostly tenanted by those of the lower middle and the middle income bracket. As such, buyers may expect most of their neighbours to be those of the working class. The lifestyle of this neighbourhood is also rather hectic and noisy, with a very high density of residents.Taman Seri Perak does not appear as such to be good for a long term investment, as it is not very well maintained; and although located in a highly central area, is not sought after by the upper middle or upper income group. It is however suitable as a new home for those on a budget, and are looking for a home that is close to the city.
