Pearl Hill has quite a few names. Besides known by the locals as Bukit Mutiara, the hill is also known as Mount Erskine and formerly known as Mount Olivia which was given to honor the wife of Stamford Raffles.The neighborhood is very quite and peaceful as there are just small number of lands and bungalows available within the area. The air here is very fresh with the breeze coming from the forest greenery surrounding the area and the sea. Some people are afraid to stay on hill slope that prohibit them from opting for hillside residences. If that is your major concern from staying on the hill, perhaps you should opt for flat lands in Pearl Hill which is situated on top of the hills. There are a few limited flat lands available here.
