Wangsa Heights is a condominium that is located in the mostly hilly area of Bukit Antarabangsa, allowing for its residents to enjoy the tranquillity of being in the embrace of lush greenness. This township is one of the more elite residential neighbourhoods in Malaysia and this can be attributed to the fact that there are many notable personages and celebrities who choose to make that area home. There are other similar high rise developments within the green enclave of Bukit Antarabangsa, some of which include Puncak Athenaeum, Impian Selatan and Oakleaf Park. Even though the exterior façade of the development does show signs of wear and aging, that does not diminish its appeal. Wangsa Heights consists of 3 blocks of 10 storeys each with a total of 208 units, and is quite self-sufficient as it has almost the full range of condominium facilities made available to the residents. For residents of Wanga Heights wishing to send their children to schools nearby, there are a few to choose from such as Stella Marie International School (1.74km), SK Keramat AU3 (1.13km), SMK Seri Keramat 2 (1.54km) and SMK Lembah Keramat (1.66km). In addition, there is the Oakleaf Highland Country Club which is a 15 minute drive from the condo, providing residents with a bit of extra leisure activities to do. For all those necessary shopping for groceries, there is the Giant hypermarket located a mere 15 minute drive up along Jalan Wangsa 1. Accessibility wise, it would take roughly 3 minutes to reach the DUKE Highway, which leads to the famous areas of the Kuala Lumpur city centre and the Golden Triangle area, about 10 to 15 minutes away from Wangsa Heights itself. The MRR2 is also another 3 minutes drive away whereas to the Ampang Elevated Highway is a 5 minute drive. Those who have difficulty going to and from the area need not fret as there is public transportation available, namely the RapidKL buses that stop at the Setiawangsa, Ampang, Jelatek areas as well as the bus terminal in Taman Dagang.

Analysis
Wangsa Heights is a medium density development that has many positive factors going for it such as full condominium facilities, fresh air, a tranquil environment and a close knit group of neighbours. Living in a place that is enclosed by native greenery allows for air and noise pollution to be naturally filtered out. In addition, the Management of the development has been highly praised by the residents for their dedication in caring for everyone on the property and efficiency in organising activities for the people under their care. For example, during almost every major festive season, the community of Wangsa Heights residents will gather for potluck parties. The disastrous landslide which occurred on one of the hill slopes in 1993 and caused the 12-story Highland Tower to collapse, the 1999 landslide and the December 2008 landslide involving 14 bungalow houses, all serve to indicate that this area has a high risk potential for landslide occurrences. In a tropical country such as ours, high rainfall levels throughout the year are quite common, especially during south-west and north-east monsoons in December and May, which can be as high as 350 mm a month. This results in highly saturated soils. In addition to the rain, the steep slopes and soil type are other factors contributing to a high risk of landslides.
