Location makes Bougainvilla highly desirable in spite of the somewhat tarnished reputation of the nearby neighborhood. But this is improving as the general area is slated for major new developments for example the massive Islamic Financial District will be just across the street. Being situated in the heart of the city naturally traffic congestion can be bad during peak hours. It is also quite hard to drive in and out from the condominium in the morning and afternoon as the area is full with parent's cars and school buses. The building management of Bougainvilla recently changed from a Joint Management Board to a Management Council format and many improvements are underway to further upgrade the building's quality and reputation.
