Bluwater Estate (also known as Bluewater Estate) is an exclusive neighbourhood located in Seri Kembangan. It was developed by Bluwater Developments of Clearwater Group, and is built on leasehold land. It was formerly called South Lake development, a different project under the Mines Resort Sdn Bhd, but Clearwater Group has since bought it over. This project fronts the lake, a one-time mining area in Seri Kembangan.The main facility within the enclave is the clubhouse, which will allow for various activities for its residents. Although there have been several bungalows built on this land during the launch of South Lake, Bluwater Estate will mainly sell land lots for bungalows, anywhere between 8,000 sf and 12,000 sf, for RM150 per sf. There will be 18 lots in all, and this part of the estate will be called Bluhaven, a gated and guarded community.A lot of people might recognise Bluwater Estate as South Lake, and this is because South Lake is a former project of the same group of companies, but under a different arm. There are already several bungalows built on Bluewater Estate, under the South Lake development project, but the rest of Bluhaven will be sold off as empty land lots for the respective land owners to built their own bungalows. Bluewater Estate spreads out through 247 acres of land, but this could be ironic because some people might feel a little touch of claustrophobia due to the fact that it is a gated community, and vehicles entering and exiting the compound will be monitored.It is safe to assume that people who choose to reside here will have their own transportation, therefore the question of public transportation services availability is moot. Although for now the bungalow lots is the only ongoing project, there are plans to build townhouses priced from RM850,000, semi-detached houses and condominiums.
